Prefer to tell the story yourself? Choose Write in the menu to open My New Story, a blank book where you control every page.

Story details

• Theme - required. Sets the look of the story.
• Language - the language of the story and the narration voices.
• Title and Description - shown in the library and at the top of the story.
• Generate Audio - tick this to have every page narrated. Untick it for a picture book without sound.

Building the pages

In the Pages section, each page has:

• a Page Title;
• a picture: click Upload an image to add one from your device (every page needs one);
• one or more dialogue lines. Each line has its text, a voice and a voice style, and an optional character name (leave the name empty for the narrator).

Use Add Dialogue / Remove Dialogue to change the lines on a page, and Add Page / Remove Page to change the number of pages.

Creating the tale

The ★ Create Tale! button shows the cost, which depends on the number of pages and on whether audio is generated. Click it to create your tale. It then appears in My Library.
