The Custom Character Designer lets you create a character that looks the way you imagine, such as your child, a grandparent or a dragon who loves pancakes. Open it from My Characters → New Character, or with the Create Character button in the story wizard.

Move between the steps with Back and Next:

1. Style & Name - name your character and choose the theme it will be drawn in.
2. Age & Gender - pick an age and a gender.
3. Looks - body type, eyes (shape and color), hair (style and color) and facial hair.
4. Outfit - attire, colors and accessories.
5. Personality - character type, traits and skills. These shape how the character behaves in stories.
6. Reveal! - click to draw your character's portrait. The button shows the coin cost.

Revealing and saving

Not quite right? Click Regenerate for a new portrait (this costs coins again), or go back and change some details first. When you're happy with it, click Save Character.

Saved characters appear in My Characters and under Custom in the story wizard's character picker.
