Guides, how-tos and answers for everything you can do in Talebard.

Kid mode

Hand the app to your kid: grown-up settings are hidden and Talebard keeps an eye on the time.

On this page

Kid mode lets you hand Talebard to your kid with peace of mind. Grown-up settings and buying are hidden, and Talebard himself keeps your kid company and tells them when it's time for a break.

Turning it on

Open Kid mode from the menu, choose the settings and press Start kid mode:

  • Play time or Bedtime - play time allows stories, coloring, games and creating, with a time limit; bedtime is one story, then Talebard says goodnight.
  • Time limits - how long before Talebard needs a nap, how long he naps and the most play time per day.
  • Quiet hours - hours when Talebard sleeps.
  • Creating - how many new stories and characters your kid may make. Creating uses your Tale Coins.
  • Talebard's voice - the narrator, a female voice, or no voice at all.

Stickers

Kids who say goodnight to Talebard nicely earn stickers for their sticker journal.

Leaving kid mode

To leave kid mode or give more time, tap the lock in the corner, hold the button for 3 seconds and answer a quick math question.

Tip

The kid mode page also shows a summary of the last days: play time, stories finished, things created and stickers earned.
